I'm JP. I was born, raised and still reside in Manhatten's Lower East Side. I graduated with my BFA in fine arts at Fashion Institute of Tech. I’m interested in the visual culture that surrounds our lives. Walking down the street, you’re bombarded with all these adverts as well as people, cultures, fashion and colors.  This was one of my biggest concerns while making my art. In a world where so much is reinterpreted I want to be able to transcend those limitations and create a fresh experience. I want to make something new. I want to take a bit from my walk home and a bit from this comic I was reading and a bit of this tune I really like and blend it into something different.
